The Electrification Project of the Karshi-Termez Section on the Uzbek Railway
December 20, 2018 No CommentsThe large-scale project “Electrification of the Karshi-Termez (Karshi(excl.)-Kumkurgan-Termez) Section” on the Uzbek Railway has been completed. Within the framework of the project, the Uzbek Railway electrified 325 km of railway. The total project cost was $327.6 million. As part of project implementation, diesel locomotives were replaced with modern electric locomotives, thanks to which transport costs
