The company “Belam”, within consortium “Belam-Belss”, has started to implement the digital radio communication construction project. The project objective is to provide the rolling stock with modern radio communication, thereby providing the Employer with an opportunity to expand the dispatcher-locomotive driver communication functionality, as well as many other functions, the employment of which was impossible

Within the project, Belam-Rīga ensured the design of the new backbone optical data transmission cables. The new optical cables are provided for broadband connection of railway systems in the following directions: Gluda-Reņģe Madona-Gulbene The total length of the designed cable – 104 km.

Belam-Riga has designed, installed and connected new surveillance cameras to the existing system, which will ensure safety and security of the territory on 5 Jelgavas Street, where the defense line was located
