Company “Belam” has completed the engineering stage one (Master Design, BIM LOD200) of utilities within the reconstruction design of “Rīga” station building (Rail Baltica Central Railway Station Construction).
The company experts have finalised the concept preparations for all the systems, as well as completed engineering of all the technical premises and located all the backbone networks of utilities within the designed building model.
Scope of Work
Within the project, company “Belam” serves as the “BERERIX” consortium subcontractor, and engineers all the MEP systems for the new building of the station and external networks (within railway tracks):
- Security systems;
- Power supply and lighting;
- BMS;
- Public address;
- Water supply system;
- Ventilation, heating, and air conditioning;
- Sprinkler fire suppression;
- Point air-blowing.
In order to engineer a variety of systems, within the team recognized industry experts were invited: “O3FM”, “Aqua-Brambis”, and “Sprinkler Service”.
The engineering was carried out in the BIM environment.
