Successfully completed “Modernization of Signalling System on Shkirotava Station” project.
“Belam-Riga” SIA took part in the project “Modernization of Signalling System on Shkirotava Station”, as a “Bombardier-Belam” Consortium partner under a works and supply contract. The Contract sum was about 42 million euro. Project implementation duration was from 06.2014 to 12.2015.
Works performed within the project included designing and technical project development, field supervision, installation and commissioning of signaling system and engineering solutions on Shkirotava station, as well as as-built documentation drawing thereon, i.e.:
- Signalling system, Computer based Interlocking (CBI);
- Level crossing system;
- Room renovation;
- Wayside equipment and cable duct system;
- Data transmission systems;
- Station power supply equipment;
- Automatic gas fire-extinguishing system;
- Intrusion and fire alarm systems on stations;
- Diesel generators installation;
- HVAC (heating, ventilation, air-conditioning) systems installation;
- Access control systems.
Scope of works:
- Points – 212 pcs;
- Signals – 237 pcs;
- Signalling cable – 345 km;
- Power cable – 20 km;
- FOC – 16 km;
- Cable duct – 22 km.
