The company “Belam”, within consortium “Belam-Belss”, has started to implement the digital radio communication construction project.
The project objective is to provide the rolling stock with modern radio communication, thereby providing the Employer with an opportunity to expand the dispatcher-locomotive driver communication functionality, as well as many other functions, the employment of which was impossible due to analogue radio.
The project involves:
- Installation of more than 40 new masts to ensure proper radio network coverage
- Installation of power supply equipment and data transmission network on more than 200 sites
- Modernization of the dispatch communication system and further integration with the new radio communication system.
